Council & Branch Network

The BTPF is a federation of over 50 local branches throughout the UK.  In some areas the branches are grouped into Councils.  Activities vary from branch to branch - some offer a range of social activities and outings as well as meetings where pensions matters are discussed.

New members usually join the branch nearest to where they live, but you are equally welcome to join a branch where the membership is drawn from a 'specialist' field, such as catering or shipping.

The Councils and branches have their own Diary pages within this website - click on the links to see what's on, but don't worry: if no activities are listed for the branch nearest you, this doesn't mean that nothing is going on - it's possible that they have not yet updated their diary of events.

Use the links below to see whether there is a branch near you, then take a look at their Diary of Events:

Anglia, BRB HQ, BT Police, Derby & District, ELMS (Ex London Midland & Scottish), the Fork Club (Hotels and Catering), Former Western Region, Leicester, Northern, North London, North West, Nottingham & District, Old Southeronians, Peterborough, Scotland, Sealink, Southend on Sea, West Midlands, York & District.

Note: the Branches and Councils are listed alphabetically to make navigation easier if you scroll down the page.  Alternatively, go to our Contents page, where you will find links to the individual branch web pages.
