Birmingham
Membership of the Birmingham Group is drawn from the West Midlands, Worcester, Leamington Spa and Banbury.

Bristol
Social activities are provided for former railway staff in the Bristol, Bath, Westbury and Taunton areas, including:
 | Day trips at various times of year and a short break holiday in the autumn at a seaside resort or in the countryside |
| Christmas lunch, where everyone has the chance to meet up with former colleagues and old friends |
| Visit to pantomime or show in the New Year |
| Newsletter produced twice a year to keep members in touch with social events |
| Annual General Meeting where members can have their say on what should and should not be included in the group's programme. |
Booking arrangements for all our trips and events will be provided in the Newsletters, together with contact details for all Branch Officers.

Gloucester

Activities 2008 - awaiting details
The Gloucester group holds regular bi-monthly meetings on alternate first Wednesdays of each month at the Gloucester City Football Club, Sudmeadow Road, Hempsted.

Plymouth & Cornwall
Monthly meetings are held at various GWRSA Clubs, with members starting to gather at around 11:30 hours. Pasties are always available. A minibus will be available from Par to St. Blazey and return for those that need it - especially for the return bit!
The Annual General Meeting takes place in January.
Two day trips took place in 2008 - one to Truro for lunch, then on to Helston and the Lizard and another by train to Calstock with a boat trip down the Tamar to the Barbican.
