Croydon & East Surrey - Branch Diary

Summary of events 2010

For details of all these events, go to the Diary Section.

Newsletter - click here to download a copy of our Winter 2009 Newsletter.
(Note that private address details for Branch Officers are removed from the downloadable version of this document.)  Please be patient - this is a large file and will require a few minutes to download.

Rambles - Croydon & East Surrey Branch Ramblers meet on the second Tuesday of each month from March to November (dates and details given in our Diary below). Details of rambles arranged by the London West Branch are also listed here and on their Branch Diary (click here to view) - these take place on the first Tuesday of each month. The rambles are taken at a steady pace.  Good walking shoes are recommended.  Take a packed lunch with you, as it is not always possible to arrive at a suitable place to purchase food and/or drink at lunchtime.

**Please check train times against the current timetable before travelling**
- click here to check your train times on the National Rail website or here for Transport Direct, where you will find all types of travel information, including trains, buses, trams and car routes.

Coffee mornings - Last Wednesday of each month (except December) at the Clock Tower Café, Katherine Street, Croydon (adjacent to Croydon Library) - no need to book, just turn up! You are also cordially invited to attend the Coffee Mornings organised by the London West Branch.

Lunch Group - our Lunch Group was launched in 2008 and we have decided to continue into 2010, starting in February.  We will meet on the second Thursday of every alternate month (i.e. February, April, June, August, October and December), for a meal at a pub or inn within easy walking distance of a railway station.  If you have a favourite lunchtime venue that is easily accessible by rail and can accommodate a party of 15 plus, please advise Peter Blanthorn or Graham Harris (contact details available to members).
